The Problem.

As women, our inner creatrix can become starved overtime by carrying the weight of invisible loads, viewing every hour through the lens of ambition and productivity, the belief that anything that isn't perfect isn't worth doing, to disrupt creates conflict and drowning out the pull to just be our most magnificent self's with mundane busyness.
Maybe this is born from years of being taught that our bodies are something to be judged and managed, with far less encouragement to understand what they’re actually communicating.
And all the absorbed "good girl" messages that teach us to tone ourselves down:
“Don’t show off.”
“Don’t make a scene.”
“Calm down.”
“What will people think?”
“Be nice.”
Over time, these messages can shape how we experience ourselves and move through the world, what we say and don’t say, what we want, what we dare to try, how much space we take up and how comfortable we feel being seen.
Our inner creatrix represents the raw, vital force of creation with in women, it supports holding boundaries, being unapologetic, inviting in creative action and pivots.
You May Recognise:
You have loads of ideas but rarely give yourself permission to follow them.
You can’t remember the last time you did something just for fun.
You spend so much time planning your life that you’re not sure you’re actually living it.
You swallow your sadness, rage, magic and wild.
You hold yourself back because you don’t want to rock the boat or be “too much”.
You ghost your body, ignoring the tight jaw, clenched shoulders or knot in your stomach.
Maybe once, these ways of being helped you keep the peace, belong, be liked or feel loved.
But somewhere along the way, you lost touch with yourself.

Your rehearsal space for real world audacity,
stepping into being messy, unleashing colour
& rediscovering your wild self

Feel into the Creative Element
Many of us tend to struggle with speaking unkindly to ourselves or being hard on ourselves when we make mistakes.
Creative interventions can support us in noticing and understanding our unkind inner dialogue, build self-compassion and begin to shift that narrative toward greater self-acceptance.
A blank piece of paper welcomes the messy, chaotic, scribbly, nonsensical doodles.
There is beauty living in the untamed and unedited
Permission to reclaim your playful side
The paper doesn't judgement us, we can explore shadow parts, rage and envy. Drawing, movement, colours giving emotions a voice.
Creative practices can support self discovery,
The breath and the page can become a mirror.
Encouraging mindfulness, sharpening focus and quietens internal noise.
Leaning into self trust: creating without rules reminds you that you know the way.
No art experience needed, just an open heart and curiosity.

Rooted Rebel is where
we begin
Sometimes knowing what we want
isn’t enough. We know what needs change,
but when you try to step outside what feels
familiar, your body can respond with doubt,
fear or the urge to hold back.
Through breathwork and creative somatic
practices, Rooted Rebel gives you another
way to explore and work with those
responses, we explore resources, confidence
and choice.
A space to get playful, unleash your
inner colour, tear up paper, be messy
and move intuitively. We don't have
a workbook, you're invited to create a
Rooted Rebel Field Guide, your own personal
collection of ideas, discoveries and reminders.
It’s time to knock the
walls down of the boxes that we no longer fit,
with curiosity, mindfulness and
simple joys of colours and paper.

Self-Worth
Self-worth is our deep, inner sense of value, the belief that we are inherently worthy of love, belonging and respect. When self-worth is low, we may struggle to set boundaries or feel unworthy of kindness, even from ourselves. When shaped by core beliefs like "I’m not enough" or "I'm not worthy", it can influence how we see ourselves and engage with the world.
Self-Esteem
It’s natural for self-esteem to ebb and flow, much like the tide. Self-esteem is the way we see and value ourselves, like our identity, abilities, and potential. When self-esteem is low, it can hold us back from engaging in the things that bring us joy or caring for ourselves in the way we deserve.
Stress
Stress is a natural part of life, but when it becomes constant, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and disconnected. It can affect our mood, health and relationships making it harder to feel confident, present or at ease within ourselves. Chronic stress can also take a toll on self-esteem, reinforcing self-doubt or the belief that we’re not doing enough.
